PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

LIMASSOL’S UBER-COOL LONDA HOTEL WILL BE ‘RATTLIN’ THEM POTS ‘N’ PANS’ ON THURSDAY 24TH MARCH AS TAT-TNABAR’S AWARD-WINNING FREESTYLE PERCUSSIONISTS MAKE MUSIC FROM, WELL, EVERYTHING… INCLUDING VEGETABLES! PREPARE TO BE AMAZED…
Thursday 24 March will see another unique first at the Londa, Limassol’s coolest, contemporary boutique hotel, when talented award-winning percussionists, Tat-tnabar will be performing live in the Caprice restaurant. For 55 euro per person, a delicious buffet will be served from 9pm with the band beginning their show at 9.30pm. The evening builds on the hotel’s already impressive portfolio of highly successful musical events, as the Londa continues its current run of live performances with what promises to be its most unusual act so far.
Tat-tnabar is a formidable quintet of talented professionals who combine elements of dance, theatre, music and percussion in a passionate performance that brings together African tribal rhythms and sounds, ethnic drumbeats and strong musical influences in a totally captivating, infectious show that leaves audiences mesmerized.
Formed during the Summer of 2000 by Lefteris Moschovias, who was determined to break away from musical trends by utilizing anything but the usual instruments, Tat-tnabar literally makes music from recycled materials, plastic tubes, pots, pans, buckets, barrels, even vegetables. Their environmentally sound, yet outstandingly original musicianship is demonstrated by their THOK (Cyprus Theatre Organisation) awards for ‘Best Music of the Year’ in 2005/6 and 2006/7.
The evening promises to be an unusual one as Jochen Niemann, General Manager of the Londa Hotel pointed out “I believe Tat-tnabar may even be ‘playing’ musical instruments they ‘find’ from the buffet bar…the evening looks full of surprises.”
For the Londa’s guests, Tat-tnabar’s performance will be a rare opportunity to see these unique freestyle percussionists in the intimate setting of the Italian designer styled interior of the award-winning Caprice restaurant. The relaxed yet attentive service and fine buffet will perfectly complement the informal atmosphere of Tat-tnabar’s exuberant performance.
Producer of the musical evenings for the Londa Hotel, Matthew Steliou of Fluffy Fish said “Tat-tnabar are totally unique; all the instruments they play they make themselves….seeing is definitely believing.”

For 55 euro per person, the Londa’s Caprice restaurant will undoubtedly be the setting for an unforgettable musical and dining experience on Thursday 24 March; but be warned, you’re advised to keep an eye on your vegetables!
