Londa wins World Travel Awards

A double take

Thanks to you – our guests and our champions – Londa has gained not one but two prestigious titles as Cyprus’s Leading Boutique Hotel and Cyprus’s Leading Hotel in the World Travel Awards™!

Thank you

It was back in April this year that our Blog on voting in the World Travel Awards™ (WTA) went out, asking you to support us. Now it is our turn to say thank you for bringing these Awards to the Londa Hotel – they will be displayed with pride and gratitude.

World Travel Awards

As Graham E. Cooke, President & Founder of WTA, writes, “Many Congratulations! World Travel Awards™ is voted for by travel and tourism professionals worldwide, and this accolade recognises the commitment to excellence which your organisation has demonstrated in the last twelve months. Using the World Travel Awards™ winners gold shield will show customers of your continuing endeavours to improve products and services.” These are words that ring true in the hearts of every member of the Londa staff – and we will continue to fulfil our promise to improve and ensure that every Londa moment is one to be remembered.

The big day

The honour of receiving the awards fell to Londa General manager Jochen Niemann, as he travelled to Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso in Athens, Greece to attend the World Travel Awards™ Europe Gala Ceremony on Saturday 2 August. Holding both gold shields, he thanked those who love Londa so much that they cast their votes in the hotel’s favour: “It was a humbling experience knowing that I was representing one of the best hotels in Europe because I would not be there if not for all the hard work of the staff and the appreciation of our guests. Such notable Awards like these are a reminder to all in the Travel industry that we must always aim to be the best at what we do – at Londa we never forget this.”
