These questions are the most frequent we are receiving and are based on our colleagues’ feedback and experience. Q: Is there free internet Wi-Fi available at the hotel?

A: We have a free open access Wi-Fi zone in the lobby area, also at Caprice Restaurant and Lounge Bar, Londa Spa and by the outside pool area.

Q: How about internet in the rooms?

A: Please obtain your personal access code from the reception to use the internet in your room.

Q: I’m a keen runner and would like to know if you can recommend anywhere to run from the hotel?

A: Starting from the hotel, there is a beautiful coastal path that runs alongside the Mediterranean sea, running east from the hotel would give you approximately a 15km out and back run. The first 1.5km from the hotel grounds is on pedestrian sidewalk, but after that, there is a path that runs along side the sea with amazing views. We highly recommend it.

Q: Could I celebrate my birthday at your hotel?

A: Of course, we will be happy to reserve a table for you and your guests and even prepare a birthday cake for you.

Q: Is the hotel staff multilingual?

A: Almost every member of our staff speaks at least 2 languages. Our guests will find it easy to communicate with everyone.

Q: How far is it to the nearest ATM?

A: There are two banks within walking distance from the hotel, one is approximately 3 minutes walk and the other 5-6 minutes walk.

Q: How far is the hotel from the nearest airport?

A: The Londa is an approximate 40-45 minutes drive from both Larnaca and Paphos airports.

Q: How much is the taxi fee from and to the airport?

A: For both airports, Larnaca and Paphos, the day fee is €58.00 and the night fee is €68.00 per trip.

Q: Are there parking facilities for hotel guests?

A: Yes, we have a free parking area in front of the hotel available to all our guests.

Q: Is there a bus stop nearby and how long does it take for the bus to come?

A: There is a bus stop right next to the hotel and the bus passes by every 15 to 20 minutes. The bus number 30 brings you directly to the old town and city centre.

Q: Do you provide maps for your guests?

A: The reception has city maps available and the team will be happy to assist you with directions.

Q: If the hotel calls a taxi for me, how long will I have to wait?

A: There is usually a taxi waiting at the entrance of the hotel, however if required to call one, this will not be longer than 5 minutes.

Q: Do you have laundry service that prepares your clothes within the day?

A: Yes, if you give your clothes early in the morning to the reception before 9.00am, it will be returned the same day. Dry cleaning will be returned the following day except Sundays.

Q: Do you do weddings on the beach?

A: The beaches in Cyprus are all public, therefore we may organise beautiful, small weddings in the summer, on our pool deck which overlooks the sea.

Q: Does the hotel have a wheelchair?

A: Yes, and we also have ramps at the hotel entrance and toward the pool area.

Q: Do you have a defibrillator in the hotel?

A: Yes, our hotel is equipped with defibrillator and hotel staff is trained to use it in case of emergency.

Q: Are any members of your staff trained as first aid providers?

A: Yes, all departments of the hotel have employees who are trained as first aiders.

Q: Is it dangerous to swim in the sea in front of the hotel?

A: The sea in front of the hotel is safe to swim in, with shallow waters.

Q: Do you have a resident doctor in the hotel?

A: No, but we cooperate with doctors who will visit the hotel in cases of emergency.

Q: How long will it take for an ambulance to reach the hotel?

A: About 10 to 15 minutes.

Q: Are there CCTV cameras installed in the hotel?

A: Yes, CCTV cameras are installed in the corridors and all public areas for guest safety.

Q: Do you do fire drills?

A: Yes and staff are trained to guide guests to safety.

Q: Which is the temperature of the sea?

A: This depends on the time of the year, however many guests swim from April until November!

Q: Are there lifeguards around the pool?

A: Yes, we do have licensed lifeguards on duty during day time.

Q: I have noticed that you have many glass panel doors in public areas. Would they cause a serious accident if they are broken?

A: No, the glass panel doors would not cause an accident because the glass becomes a pile of sand when broken.

Q: How far is the nearest Accidents & Emergency unit?

A: Just a maximum of 5 minutes from the hotel.

Q: Could an excursion or tour be organised?

A: Yes, our Reception Desk may provide you with all the necessary information and maps.

Q: Could you assist us with car rentals?

A: Our Reception Desk will be happy to do so.

Q: Do we need to bring beach towels?

A: The Spa provides each guest with pool & beach towels free of charge.

Q: What is the name of your hotel manager?

A: Our manager’s name is Mr Jochen Niemann.


Q: Do you have connecting rooms?

A: On each floor we offer 2 Sea View Suites connecting to a Superior room.

Q: Do you have family rooms?

A: No, but our Side View Suites offer a sofa bed and may be equipped with a roll away bed as well.

Q: Do you offer non smoking rooms?

A: Yes, all of our rooms are non-smoking.

Q: Can I smoke in my room?

A: You may smoke outside on your balcony.

Q: Are there smoke detectors in the room?

A: Yes, all rooms are equipped with smoke detectors.

Q: Do you have a room for disabled people?

A: Yes, the hotel is equipped with a room with disabled facilities.

Q: Are the room doors made of fire-proof material?

A: Yes all room doors are fire proof.

Q: Are there emergency staircases on each floor?

A: Yes, two in total, one at each end of the corridor.

Q: We love to enjoy lots of coffee and tea in our room! Would you provide us with a kettle if we ask for one?

A: Yes, a kettle may be provided upon request. Please also be informed that all of our rooms have Nespresso coffee machines.

Q: Does the hotel provide guests with iron and iron board?

A: Yes, our housekeeping department will be happy to provide you with one upon request.

Q: I prefer sleeping on a soft bed. If I find the mattress too hard, can this be fixed?

A: Yes, if you find the bed too hard for your taste, we may arrange to make it softer for you.


Q: Do you have soya milk or other non dairy milk alternatives available at breakfast and for coffee at your bar and restaurant?

A: We have soya milk available at our breakfast buffet and throughout the hotel. Other non dairy type milks may be made available by special request at the time of your booking.

Q: We will be having our anniversary during our stay with you and we would like to have a romantic dinner. What are your suggestions?

A: We propose a candlelit dinner for two persons in our Caprice Restaurant. The Caprice Restaurant overlooks the sea and is a beautiful venue for such a special occasion. Dinner may be selected from our Italian à la carte or we may create a tailor-made menu for you.

Q: Hoping to dine in the Caprice Restaurant, can you provide any gluten free options?

A: Our menu has a wide variety of gluten free dishes such as beef carpaccio, mozzarella di buffala, salmon tartar, sea bass fillet, grilled meat and fish options. We may also prepare pasta dishes from gluten free pasta. Our dark chocolate cake is a gluten free temptation!

Q: What kind of breakfast do you offer?

A: The Londa offers buffet breakfast with a vast selection of both cold and hot items. Guests however do have the option to order room service for breakfast as well.

Q: Until what time is breakfast served?

A: Our breakfast buffet starts at 7am and is served until 10.30am during the week and until 11.00 am at weekends.

Q: Can I have breakfast earlier or later?

A: We can certainly serve you breakfast outside our usual hours if you let us know in advance.

Q: Is there live music in the restaurant?

A: Our Caprice Restaurant and Lounge Bar plays background lounge music. We have a DJ at the bar during the week-ends.

Q: Do you take special dietary requests?

A: We would appreciate that you inform us in advance of your dietary requirements and our Chef will arrange your meals according to your specifications.

Q: Is your restaurant menu translated into other languages?

A: Yes, our a la carte menu is offered in six languages: Greek, English, Italian, Russian, German and French.

Q: Is your hotel HACCP registered?

A: Yes, our hotel is registered and strictly follows all quality and health standard procedures and regulations as instructed by HACCP.

Q: What time is dinner served?

A: We start serving dinner from 7.30pm until midnight seven days a week.

Q: Is your restaurant smoke free?

A: Yes, according to Cyprus law.

Q: What is the dress attire during dinner?

A: Guests are kindly requested to be dressed in a ‘casual chic’ manner.


Q: Do you offer massages for couples?

A: Yes you may enjoy your preferred treatment with your partner in the same room at the same time.

Q: Is the relaxing area, sauna and steam bath mixed?

A: Yes, it is open both for men and women and a swimsuit is required.

Q: Do you have special spa packages?

A: No, but we can create a unique package for you depending on your needs.

Q: What are the opening hours for the Spa & Gym?

A: The Spa is open for treatments everyday from 9 am to 8 pm, The gym is open from 6am to 11pm.

Q: Do you have any yoga classes?

A: We do not offer any classes for the moment.

Q: Is the Spa and Gym free of charge?

A: Yes, the inside facilities are free of charge for our hotel guests.

Q: Can I come and enjoy the outside pool and the inside facilities even if I am not staying in the hotel?

A: Yes, depending on availability you can purchase a day pass (€30 per person).

Q: Do you have male therapists?

A: Currently only female therapists work at the Spa.

Q: What is included in the price of a treatment?

A: Included in a 1 hour treatment is the usage of our inside facilities at no extra cost.

Q: Can I use my telephone and internet in the spa?

A: In order to ensure maximum relaxation, the use of telephone and other devices are prohibited in the Spa.

Q: What time should I come for my treatment?

A: Please show up 15 min before the treatment time, in order to fill in the health form and to get changed.

Q: Do you have a sauna?

A: Yes, in the relaxing area you can find a sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi and a jet shower.

Q: Can I have my dinner in the spa?

A: Food or alcoholic drinks are not allowed in the Spa during the normal opening hours but we would be very happy to organise a special “Spa evening” just for you and your friends with exclusive use of all facilities including dinner and drinks if you wish.

Q: What nationalities are the therapists?

A: The spa therapists come from all over Europe and they are all highly skilled and qualified.

Q: What do I wear during a treatment?

A: We provide you with underwear, bathrobe and slippers.

Q: What treatment do you offer for pregnant women?

A: We adapt to your needs and we can create special head and leg massages or our “mother to be” massage. We have a wide range of organic facials for extra sensitive skin. Manicure, pedicure and waxing can also be provided but we do not recommend any treatment during the first 3 months of your pregnancy.

Q: Is the outside pool heated in winter?

A: No, but we have a Jacuzzi in the Spa which can be enjoyed by our hotel guests

Q: Can children use the spa?

A: For safety reasons, children under 16 are not allowed to use the Spa facilities.
