This is Blog Number 50 from Londa beach hotel – and what a year it’s been! We started writing our blogs in the lead up to last Christmas almost a year ago, wanting to let you know what was going on at Londa and to keep you up to date with promotions.
Londa Beach hotel has joined the elite and prestigious circles of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World™. And as Londa takes its place on the SLH website and in their brochures, the joys of our wonderful boutique hotel are unveiled to a new circle of guests that we are pleased to welcome.
Performing on the wonderful Kawai grand piano in the Londa Lobby is Evi, a lady of talent and taste. Trained in Cyprus and coming from Limassol, Evi has been our Londa resident pianist for the last eight winter seasons. She delights in the music of smooth easy chill-out that guests at Londa can sit back and listen to, and though a classical pianist, she understands the enjoyment that people get from tranquil music.
What have you got planned for New Year? We think that Londa has the best to offer – we came up with a great value package that competes in every way except the price tag!
As an autumn special, the Londa Spa is offering some packages that are created to stimulate or to relax – the choice is yours! The two treatments that we have picked for our autumn packages are at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Spa therapy but both are designed to go deep and make a difference.
The heat of the summer has subsided and we see the cyclists are on the road enjoying mountain runs and coastal routes – Londa welcomes you! Many people come to Cyprus to cycle in autumn and spring due to the amazing climate and huge range of routes available. Over the next two weeks, Londa Hotel will host some of the best musicians on the jazz scene today – Kęstutis Vaiginis, with bass guitar virtuoso Domas Aleksa, Leonid Nesterov and Andreas Stephanou on 28 September, and Russian saxophonist Konstantin Safyanov with the Leonid Nesterov Trio on 5 October.

Every year at the end of the official summer months but when the sun is still high in the daytime skies, the Municipal Gardens opposite the seafront and close to the centre of town, play host to this local Wine Festival. Thousands pour in to taste the new wines created from grapes grown in the hillsides above Limassol and Paphos, and you can’t get more local than that!
